Frequently Asked Questions

When is my rent due?

Rent is due on the first day of the month.

How do I pay my rent?

Rent can be paid by cheque, post-dated cheques, money order or by e-transfer. Cheques are to be payable to Crawley Properties. Email address for e-transfer is crawlprop@nb.sympatico.ca

How do I submit a maintenance request?

Please refer to the Maintenance section of this website. Please allow 72 hours for a response. For emergencies,

please call 506-658-8976.

How do I get a copy of my lease agreement?

With a month to month tenancy a formal lease agreement is not required in New Brunswick. Should you need a lease agreement please let us know.

How much is the security deposit?

The security deposit is equivalent to one month’s rent.

Is Tenant Insurance required?

No, however we strongly recommend that all tenants have tenant insurance.

How much notice is required if I plan on moving?

We require one month’s written notice on or before the first day of the month for the month you plan to vacate. Tenants and all possessions must be vacated from the unit by the end of the day on the last day of the month.

Do you do a walk through with me when I vacate the apartment?

No, unfortunately we are unable to do this due the volume of activity that occurs at month end. You are welcome to take pictures and/or video as proof of the departing cleanliness/ condition of the unit.

How do I apply to have my security deposit returned?

For emergencies such as flooding, burst or frozen pipes, no-heat (winter), sewer backup, and electrical sparking situations, call 506-658-8976. If a fire breaks out, please call 911.
